CBaySystems releases dictation application

Transcription device developer CBaySystems and Services has releases CBayFlo VoiceDirect, an automated digital dictation and voice capture system.

The application enables physicians to dictate into any digital recording device -- a PDA, tablet PC, desktop system, or phone -- and have it captured for transcription by the software's natural language processing capabilities, according to the Annapolis, MD-based firm.

The product is built on an open technology platform that allows it to interface with legacy systems from Dictaphone Healthcare Solutions, DVI, and Lanier Healthcare, as well as home-grown systems, the company said.
