Electronic medical record (EMR) developer NextGen Healthcare Information Systems reported that its NextGen EMR has successfully completed testing status for the Doctor's Office Quality-Information Technology (DOQ-IT) project.
The DOQ-IT project is a three-year U.S. quality improvement initiative to assist physicians who wish to purchase and implement EMR technology, according to Horsham, PA-based NextGen.
The firm said it passed the DOQ-IT by demonstrating its capability to transmit data on 33 clinical indicators to the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care using mandated data transmission standards.
