GE Healthcare will be providing its Centricity Practice electronic medical record (EMR), practice management, and laboratory products to Satellite Med, a private-practice medical clinic in Cookeville, TN.
The package will allow physicians to use a patient's EMR to send test orders to the practice's in-house lab, as well as receive the results. The practice management component will simultaneously facilitate billing and processing of patient procedures, according to GE of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.
