Healthcare information technology software developer Vocada will unveil a new critical test results management (CTRM) application, Veriphy, at the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) conference in Las Vegas later this month.
The Dallas-based firm said that Veriphy is designed to provide CTRM capabilities for all of a hospital's diagnostic departments, including radiology, cardiology, and laboratories.
The application features a new Web interface; policy development and implementation, including building of the physician database; communications technology that verifies message receipt and automates documentation and rule compliance; and real-time reporting that enables benchmarking and performance evaluation.
Veriphy also features a downloadable desktop application, which enables a reporting clinician to create and send a voice message about a test result directly from the computer to an ordering clinician. The system automatically tracks and monitors the communication and verifies receipt of the message.
