GE debuts wireless telemetry service

GE Healthcare has introduced its Wireless Medical Telemetry Service (WMTS), designed to help hospitals bring their entire portfolio of wireless services and applications together on a single infrastructure.

Developed with wireless technology firm MobileAccess Networks, WMTS allows hospitals to operate GE's ApexPro CH wireless telemetry patient monitoring directly over its Enterprise Access offering, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based firm.
