Healthcare services and information technology developer Emdeon said it expects that an evaluation of strategic alternatives for its Business Services and Practice Services segments will not be completed until the middle of August.
The Elmwood Park, NJ-based firm had planned to complete the process by the end of July. Factors contributing to the delay include stronger than anticipated results for the units, and the consideration of an additional strategic alternative, Emdeon said.
