Healthcare information technology developer Healthvision has implemented its electronic medical records (EMR) Interoperability product, version 1.1, at the Yale New Haven Health System in New Haven, CT.
The latest release of EMR Interoperability includes support for Continuity of Care Record (CCR) data standards, allowing health information exchange (HIE) organizations, including health systems and regional health information organizations (RHIOs), to share patient information and records according to the Irving, TX-based vendor.
EMR 1.1 will allow the Yale New Haven group to send patient summary data formatted within CCR standards, as well as lab and radiology results, discharge summaries, and transcribed reports to physicians using the system or directly into the physician's EMR, Healthvision said.
