ClickView

Structured reporting developer ClickView is showcasing its ClickView 7i structured reporting Web database application to attendees at the 2006 RSNA show in Chicago.

ClickView 7i can streamline workflow, report preparation, delivery, and access, according to the San Francisco-based firm. The latest iteration has new first-trimester ob/gyn reports; general radiology reports for carotid vascular, adult echocardiography, and head and abdomen CT; report results outbound with DICOM wrap; a Search Suite for data mining, image search, and quality assurance and research; and the capability to link PACS images to 7i search results.

The application utilizes Internet delivery and provides "anytime, anywhere" referring physician access to completed reports. User menus are customizable to practice patterns and physician preferences, and the software allows searches by text, data, measurements, CPT/ICD-9 codes, users, and referring physicians, the company said.

The ClickView 7i structured reporting Web database has DICOM/PACS integration capabilities, and HL7 results can be sent outbound to a PACS, RIS, or hospital information system (HIS). The system is sold as a perpetual license, ClickView said, so there is no extra workstation, user, exam, or per-patient charge.

The application is currently available and is targeted at radiology departments with strong obstetric ultrasound, vascular, CT, and adult cardiac echo practices, according to the developer.
