Eclipsys upgrades Sunrise EPSi

Healthcare informatics firm Eclipsys of Atlanta has launched a new addition to its Sunrise EPSi business decision support and performance management system.

The Strategic Product Budgeting module is designed to enhance a healthcare organization's strategic planning capabilities by integrating strategic planning and operating budgeting processes into one system.

The module captures patient clinical and financial data and combines it with capabilities that enable users to factor in changes that can affect strategic plans, such as changes in treatment patterns, payor mix, rates, market share, or cost structure.
