M*Modal teams with Greenway Medical

Speech recognition firm M*Modal is integrating its Speech Understanding technology with the PrimeSuite 2011 electronic health record (EHR), practice management, and interoperability product from Greenway Medical Technologies.

M*Modal's Speech Understanding software features advanced speech and natural language processing technologies in one platform. M*Modal works with a variety of clinical documentation, RIS/PACS, and EHR systems.

The integrated product is being demonstrated this week at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual meeting in Orlando, FL.
