Healthcare software developer Allocade has rolled out new capabilities for its On-Cue workflow management software, adding support for cardiology and patient transport departments.
The company has adapted On-Cue for implementation in the cardiology department in three areas: cardiac catheterization labs, electrocardiography, and echocardiography. Cardiology personnel now have the same access to On-Cue workflow management that is available in the radiology department.
Meanwhile, the expansion of On-Cue to the transport department provides a real-time view of patient status within any procedural area managed by the On-Cue software. Transport personnel can customize the interface by the type of patient or the procedural area as they work to improve coordination of patient transports, according to the company.
Allocade is debuting the new features at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting in Orlando, FL.
