This year's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting in Orlando, FL, has broken records for attendance, HIMSS announced.
HIMSS President and CEO Stephen Lieber reported on February 22 that, as of the third day of the meeting, an estimated 30,947 people have attended this year's conference. That compares with an estimated 27,800 registrants at the 2010 meeting in Atlanta.
This year's conference features more than 400 education sessions and 1,000 exhibiting companies and organizations.
