AHIMA Foundation sets up relief fund

The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Foundation has established the Health Information Relief Operation (HIRO) fund to aid professionals affected by natural or man-made disasters.

The HIRO fund will provide assistance to healthcare IT management professionals whose practices and personal lives have been impacted, according to AHIMA.

AHIMA has contributed $10,000 to the fund.
