Accusoft Pegasus releases new mobile app

Image compression software developer Accusoft Pegasus has released Barcode Xpress Mobile for Android.

The product is designed to provide patient record indexing for medical professionals using smartphones based on the Android operating system, allowing access to patient medical information, according to Accusoft.

A physician may scan a patient's chart or wristband to pull records from an online database using a mobile device. Additionally, users can view medical images from a patient record with the AIMTools SDK, Accusoft's mobile imaging toolkit.
