Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare has inked deals with 11 radiology practices to use its Merge RIS v7.0 software to achieve meaningful use under the U.S. government's healthcare IT stimulus program.
Merge RIS v7.0 features include ePrescribing, enhanced reporting for physicians to automatically trend clinical data and report on meaningful use measures, new clinical decision support, clinical exchange of health information through industry-standard formats, and a portal for patients to access their records at any time.
Facilities signing on for Merge RIS v7.0 include Radiology Consultants of Lynchburg; Booth Radiology in West Deptford, NJ; Radiology Associates of West Pasco; and North State Radiology in Chico, CA.
