Contrast injector developer Medrad has unveiled its new Certegra Informatics Connect.RIS application, designed to enable its Stellant contrast injection systems to integrate with hospital radiology reporting systems and RIS networks.
The Connect.RIS application autopopulates contrast injection records into radiology reporting systems and RIS, eliminating the need for radiologists to look up or dictate contrast injection records. The application also enhances billing and reconciliation processes, Medrad said.
