Speech recognition and software developer Nuance Communications is now offering its Dragon Medical 11 French version for use by French-speaking Canadian providers.
Dragon Medical 11 French was released in Europe in the first half of 2010, according to Nuance. The medical speech recognition package includes customizable commands such as voice shortcuts and templates to help clinicians streamline the creation of documentation such as progress notes, history of present illness, and assessment and treatment plans, Nuance said.
