Speech recognition and transcription technology developer MedQuist Holdings has named Amy Dellamora Amick as chief operating officer (COO) and Michael Clark as executive vice president for global sales.
Amick comes to MedQuist after serving as general manager of worldwide services in Microsoft's Health Solutions Group, having responsibility for Microsoft's global implementation, customer support, customer relationships, and training and education, MedQuist said. As COO, Amick will manage MedQuist's global service delivery, implementation, and support, including consulting and professional services businesses.
Clark has been with MedQuist since 1998, most recently directing the vendor's U.S. operational and sales responsibilities. In his new role, Clark will lead an expanding new business sales force and also be responsible for account management.
