Oncology firm Elekta will demonstrate the most recent version of its Mosaiq oncology information system at next week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting in Las Vegas.
Mosaiq captures a patient's chart in a common database that users can customize, allowing radiation oncologists and medical oncologists to coordinate care for complex cases. In addition to serving hospital-based centers, Mosaiq offers clinical, administrative, and billing tools so that standalone centers can have one comprehensive oncology information system, according to Elekta.
