Informatics firm Dolbey said it has extended its Fusion clinical documentation product suite to Bayer HealthCare's Certegra SR Outbound Interface, enabling Fusion customers to automate capture of contrast dose information.
When Fusion customers perform CT exams with contrast, Certegra can now send the CT dose information to Fusion to autopopulate the radiology record, according to the vendor. Radiologists beginning a report for that CT exam will now have access to the CT contrast injection data and can insert the information directly into the report, Dolbey said.
The data can also be inserted into a template specific to that modality. Dolbey showcased its new capability at last week's RSNA 2012 meeting in Chicago.
