Speech recognition and transcription technology developer M*Modal has launched a new vendor certification program to support the integration of its technology into electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare systems.
Called the M*Modal Partner Certification Program, the initiative is designed to help healthcare IT vendors integrate the firm's speech recognition and natural language understanding features into their systems via M*Modal's Fluency Direct tool, according to the vendor.
The program includes features such as integration and scalability in virtualized Citrix environments, cloud storage and processing, minimal development resource requirements for vendors, and workshops and engineering support, M*Modal said.
