Radiation oncology firm Elekta will present its Knowledge Management software at next week's American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) annual meeting in San Francisco.
A cloud-based clinical and business intelligence software platform, Knowledge Management is designed to provide customers with insight from their clinical, operational, financial, and research data, according to the vendor. It uses analytics tools to collect, integrate, mine, and analyze oncology data, Elekta said.
Knowledge Management applications include healthcare analytics, dashboards and reports, specialized cancer and neurosurgery registries, and oncology image management software. Elekta also pointed to the inclusion of the company's Metriq cancer registry, which is used by 1,200 Elekta customers globally on a daily basis to aggregate data on cancer patients, diseases, and treatments.
