Royal Philips, the parent of Philips Healthcare, has signed a seven-year agreement to provide the newly built Hong Duc General Hospital II in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with its medical imaging, patient monitoring, and healthcare IT systems.
The hospital, which is scheduled to open in early 2020, will be outfitted with the vendor's Azurion image-guided therapy platform, as well as patient monitoring and integrated analytics software. Philips said it will also provide technology such as its CT systems and Ingenia 3-tesla MRI scanner with high-intensity focused ultrasound capability.
