Siemens Healthineers has launched its Medicalis Patient Self-Scheduling platform at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting in Las Vegas.
Medicalis allows patients to schedule their own imaging exams and is part of the company's Medicalis Referral Management package.
Siemens is also highlighting at HIMSS 2021 a new lung cancer pathway for its artificial intelligence (AI)-based clinical decision-support software. AI-Pathway Companion can now support clinicians in their decision-making for imaging and treatment for patients with non-small cell lung cancer. The software is already being used for prostate cancer decision support, according to the firm.
