PACS and connectivity developer Merge Technologies of Milwaukee has begun deliveries of its ExamWorks device. The product is a touch-screen appliance designed to allow healthcare facilities to synchronize patient information with image data.
Merge executives believe that ExamWorks can help speed the arrival of the electronic patient record by providing a connection between patient records and medical devices. ExamWorks is part of Merge’s MergeWorks suite of products, which are designed to improve the work flow of healthcare facilities.
