Image management firm Emageon said it will be previewing its new Emageon System 5.10 at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Dallas next week.
The Birmingham, AL-based company's latest version will have bidirectional clinical context object workgroup (CCOW) and viewer-launching interfaces, DICOM Performed Procedure Step multicasting, and an UltraVisual Technologist feature with Web-based administration tools and paperless workflow, Emageon said.
The firm said it will be demonstrating JPEG 2000 viewing capabilities, OpenGL graphics, a mammography workstation, and integration with Dictaphone Healthcare Solutions Group's PowerScribe voice recognition software at the conference.
