VIENNA - Ziehm Imaging of Nuremberg, Germany, unveiled its Ziehm WebPort, a software system that enables the vendor's C-arms to act as an integrated communications center, at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR).
The system combines the functions of online viewing of the image data generated by the C-arm with Web-based PACS and image distribution functionalities. In addition, the WebPort, when connected to a facility's network, enables intraoperative simultaneous modality viewing from an image archive, according to the developer.
