PACS provider SmartPACS of Irvington, NJ, and RIS developer Infinitt of Seoul, South Korea, have signed a memorandum of understanding prior to the initiation of a joint development agreement expected later this year, according to the companies.
The two firms developed a professional partnership in 2000 to enhance their respective presence in the North American PACS market. Both companies are now expanding to a wider application area, such as 3D advanced visualization and RIS development and sales, SmartPACS said.
