Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has joined with the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) of Great Falls, VA, to offer a PACS administrator scholarship to attend the society's 2005 annual conference June 2-5 in Orlando, FL.
In addition to picking up the tab for conference fees, airfare, and hotel, the scholarship enables audit attendance at SCAR's PACS administration overview course in Orlando on June 1. The scholarship is valued at more than $2,000, according to Stamford, CT-based Fuji.
A panel of SCAR members will select the recipient after evaluating applicants who submit a brief essay, a CV, and an application form. More information on the scholarship and the application form is available on Fuji's Web site. The application deadline is April 22, and the scholarship recipient will be announced during the week of May 16, Fujifilm said.
