Raypax adds to PACS line

PACS provider Raypax North America has released its Rapid series of PACS offerings. Rapid includes Viewer, QC, and Image.

Viewer consists of a Dell workstation and two 3-megapixel monitors and software, while QC includes a Dell workstation and software. Image features two Dell workstations and two 3-megapixel monitors and software.

Raypax has also debuted Lite Viewer, viewing software that receives, sends, and forwards DICOM files for remote and special situations, according to the firm. Priced at around $3,000, Lite Viewer also allows for multiple-monitor viewing and DICOM printing.

In other Raypax news, the firm has moved its corporate offices from Altadena, CA, into the corporate facilities of Samsung America in La Mirada, CA. Raypax is a subsidiary of Samsung.
