Image management firm Emageon reported that revenue for its 2005 fiscal first quarter (end-March 31) was $11.3 million, a 59% increase compared with the $7.1 million in revenues booked for the first quarter of 2004.
The Birmingham, AL-based company stated that its net losses for the fiscal period increased to $4.8 million, compared with a net loss reported for the 2004 fiscal first quarter of $3.6 million.
The vendor recorded positive cash flow from operations of $3.1 million during the first quarter of 2005, an improvement over the first quarter of 2004 when the company had cash flow from operations of $400,000.
