Canadian PACS vendor Intelerad Medical Systems of Montreal is highlighting a number of new enhancements to its IntelePACS software at this week's Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) meeting in Orlando, FL.
IntelePACS now includes support for a number of new features, including the following:
- Grouped procedures, in which users can now better manage workflow for multislice CT and other exams that require mapping of several RIS orders to a single complex procedure
- Simultaneous image viewing sessions, in which users can access images from several IntelePACS installations at one time using a single user interface
- CD burning and DICOM export directly through the Web-enabled InteleViewer Advanced software
- Image caching at the user workstation for radiologists with demanding case loads who want full-fidelity image access that's faster than what their networks can provide
Intelerad also said it would be launching an education and support center with online tutorials, a documentation library, and discussion forums.
