French medical imaging software developer Etiam has developed a new extension of its DICOM Izer acquisition and conversion software.
DICOM Izer Video is a video acquisition and conversion software product that integrates with any PACS, according to the Rennes, France-based company. The product allows users to select, edit, and convert cine images into DICOM objects (UA, XA, VL), including the recently developed DICOM-MPEG extension, and store images on PACS and DICOM CD/DVD archives.
The software can connect to a HIS/RIS to access patient worklists, and supports a wide array of media and interfaces.
