Agfa HealthCare will be installing a RIS/PACS network in Finland as part of the regional KAAPO (South Karelia hospital district and Kymenlaakso hospital district area) project.
The KAAPO project, which aims to create an integrated regional healthcare network to serve the two districts, will result in a RIS/PACS network shared between district hospitals, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor. Agfa received the order from Finnish healthcare IT firm Medi-IT OY, which is owned by the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia hospitals.
