Archiving firm StorageTek has released its ViaRemote backup and recovery service.
Designed for remote offices, mobile users, or enterprises that have distributed their data, ViaRemote service provides automated, offsite data backup and recovery for distributed servers, PCs, and laptops located anywhere on a network, according to the Louisville, CO-based vendor.
ViaRemote is delivered in partnership with Arsenal Digital Solutions and offered through StorageTek's Remote Managed Storage services, according to the firm. Customers can pay on a monthly usage basis (per gigabyte), StorageTek said.
