GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has received a multimodality RIS/PACS contract with Miami Children's Hospital.
The $5.7 million agreement includes the vendor's Discovery ST PET/CT imaging equipment, along with its Centricity RIS and PACS network, four Revolution XRD digital radiography systems, and a Proteus XRA analog x-ray room.
The equipment is expected to be installed by the end of 2005, GE said.
