PACS vendor Rogan-Delft has launched a new version of its Online XS PACS product, which is based on redundant array of inexpensive servers (RAIS) technology, according to the Veenendaal, Netherlands-based firm.
RAIS technology provides a scalable archive that enables the PACS to adapt to an institution's imaging growth, Rogan-Delft said. Another benefit of the RAIS architecture is that it allows all information to be online in an uncompressed format, eliminating the need to prefetch older studies, the company said.
The product is available now, Rogan-Delft said.
