Amicas increases sales, trims losses in Q2

Radiology image and information systems company Amicas of Boston reported a growth in sales and a decrease in losses in unaudited results for its fiscal 2005 second quarter (end-June 30).

Total revenues for the period were $12.8 million compared to $10 million for the same period last year, representing a 28% increase, Amicas said. Operating loss for the second quarter was $600,000, down significantly from the $3.5 million loss reported in the second quarter of 2004.
