Perkins releases new version of MDVDR

Perkins Electronics of Dallas has released version 2 of its Medical DVD Recorder (MDVDR), a DVD recorder designed specifically for medical applications.

Version 2 incorporates a number of new features, including the ability to crop out patient demographic data for individual review or use in a teaching environment; the ability to sense that a video input connection is unplugged, and display a message on the monitor and LCD; field software upgrade capability; and auto-chaptering ability.
