Mercury releases RADIN 3.2

Mercury Computer Systems of Chelmsford, MA, has introduced RADIN 3.2, the latest iteration of PACS software from SoHard, the Fuerth, Germany-based healthcare informatics developer that Mercury recently acquired.

The new edition features a failover cluster that allows assignment of individual functionalities to specific servers in the PACS cluster. Each component, such as the database and archive, can run on its own server, allowing the servers to assume tasks from one another in case of node failure or maintenance, according to Mercury.

The upgrade also has its own DICOM modality work list capabilities, an integrated modality performed procedure step (MPPS) manager, and an open database interface for RIS communication, the company said.
