RIS/PACS software developer Guardian Technologies International of Herndon, VA, has signed a co-marketing agreement with PACS firm Neurostar Solutions of Atlanta.
The firms plan to create an integrated RIS/PACS by combining components of Guardian's FlowPoint RIS/PACS with Neurostar's Virtual Radiology Network image viewing software. The deal gives Neurostar the ability to add RIS capabilities to its VRN product, while Guardian wins rights to offer Neurostar's image viewer with its product line.
