Image management firm Emageon reported revenues for its 2005 fiscal second quarter (end-June 30) of $18.6 million, a 53% increase compared with the $12.1 million in revenues booked for the second quarter of 2004.
The Birmingham, AL-based company stated that it recorded net income for the fiscal period of $1.9 million, compared with a net loss reported for the 2004 fiscal second quarter of $100,000.
Revenue for the first six months was $29.9 million, an increase of 55% over revenue of $19.2 million for the same period in 2004. For first two quarters combined, net loss was $2.9 million, an improvement over the net loss of $3.7 million from the first two quarters of fiscal 2004.
