StorageTek has enhanced its Remote Managed Storage service.
Designed to improve remote monitoring and management of PACS networks and patient information, the product now includes support for StorageTek's Application Storage Manager (ASM) automated data movement software. It also allows for predictive troubleshooting of hardware/software failures and storage capacity issues before they occur, according to StorageTek.
Remote Managed Storage service can now provide comprehensive monitoring and reporting on multivendor storage hardware and software, StorageTek said. The service has already been installed at NYU Medical Center, the Louisville, CO-based vendor said.
