Eastman Kodak Health Group reported that the firm will offer American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Category A continuing medical education credit courses for its customers through an agreement with healthcare informatics education and consulting firm SG&A Consulting of Arlington, TX.
Three courses on PACS concepts and DICOM standards will be included as options to customers who buy a PACS from the Rochester, NY-based vendor. The courses are part of SG&A's school of PACS administration curriculum, and are designed for radiology administrators, technologists, and information technology managers and staff, Kodak said.
The courses will be conducted at SG&A's training facilities in Arlington.
