PACS provider StorComm of Jacksonville, FL, and clinical information systems developer Creative Computer Applications (CCA) of Calabasas, CA, said they have entered into a formal merger agreement and plan of reorganization, subject to regulatory review and shareholder approval.
The companies plan to integrate CCA's CyberRAD RIS and StorComm's AccessNET PACS products. CCA said the merged company will have more than 700 customer sites.
CCA and StorComm shareholders will own an equal number of CCA shares upon the closing, which CCA said it expects to complete in the fall this year.
