SmartPACS and Infinitt have set a date of October 1 for the close of the joint-venture deal between the companies to sell PACS in North America.
The companies also announced that under the joint-venture deal, SmartPACS will assume the name Infinitt North America.
In related developments, SmartPACS president David Parker is no longer affiliated with the company, and will not be an employee of either the joint venture or Infinitt, according to SmartPACS of Phillipsburg, NJ.
