American Multiplexer debuts compression software

Compression firm American Multiplexer has introduced eFotoXpress, an image compression program designed for sharing and storing large image files.

The software makes it possible to shrink images as large as 100 MB to 80K or even smaller without critical data loss, according to the Sunnyvale, CA-based vendor. It also allows 3:1 lossless compression, American Multiplexer said.
