French medical imaging software developer Etiam has released LiteBox 2.70, a DICOM MPEG viewer.
The Rennes, France-based firm has built the product on its Open LiteBox software.
It permits the reviewing and annotation of streaming video files and still images, as well as the exportation of streams to MPEG, AVI, and JPEG files. The universal DICOM image review application allows the side-by-side display of traditional radiology and visible light images with the associated reports and key images, Etiam said.
The Open LiteBox product is in the process of receiving Food and Drug Administration clearance, according to Etiam.
