Radiology image and information systems company Amicas of Boston reported a growth in sales and a decrease in losses in unaudited results for its fiscal 2005 third quarter (end-September 30).
Total revenues for the period were $13.6 million, up 27% from the $10.8 million in sales posted for the same period last year, Amicas said. Operating loss for the third quarter was $1.7 million, down significantly from the $3.5 million loss reported in the third quarter of 2004.
The firm's net loss for the period was $600,000, a sharp improvement when compared with its net loss from continuing operations of $3.9 million for the same period a year ago.
