Plain-paper printing firm aycan Medical Systems will introduce its xray-print Deluxe system.

2005 11 11 15 08 46 706 The product enables the printing of radiology and other medical images on plain paper at near-diagnostic quality using Xerox's DocuColor 240 printer. Prints are produced at a resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi, and the printer can produce a monthly print output of up to 30,000 prints, according to the Rochester, NY-based firm.

The system can be connected to almost any DICOM-capable imaging modality and workstation, and can be integrated into existing or new networks, aycan said.
